As part of our topic work this term we have been investigating some clues that we found. There were lots of pieces of paper that seemed to have been in a fire. When we looked carefully at the clues we found a date, a diary entry, some pictures and the name of a street. After some investigation we found that all of the clues linked to a fire that happened more than 300 years ago known as the Great Fire of London. We have really enjoyed learning about the fire and we have been working on some art work linked to the fire too. Miss Hutton has also taught us a song called ‘London’s Burning.’
