School meals at Ivy Road.

Dolce - a family run, third-generation caterer – Provide our school meals.  Please see the ‘Welcome Parent Leaflet’ from Dolce located above this text.

All children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 are eligible for Universal Infant Free School Meals and do not have to pay for meals. If your child is in year 3, 4, 5 or 6 the cost of a school lunch is £3.40 unless your child is entitled to free school meals.

We use a software called SchoolGrid for the payment of your child's school meals. All children, including those in receipt of Free School meals, must be registered with SchoolGrid.

With SchoolGrid, you can easily pay for your child's meals with just a few clicks. To get started, SchoolGrid will be sending you a welcome email with instructions on how to activate your account and create your password.  Please note that in order for your account to be created, we will be sharing your information with SchoolGrid. If your child has dietary requirements or allergens these must be indicated on SchoolGrid. Again, please see attached the ‘Welcome Parent Leaflet’ from Dolce on how to do this.

Our school dinners are prepared on the premises. We offer home cooked meals, including a vegetarian option each day, sandwiches and a salad bar. The menu is designed to give children a healthy balanced diet.

Our Pantomime Funday, Valentine’s Day, Red Nose Day and Parents’ Day themes have been very successful.
