Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club at Ivy Road Primary runs from 8am to the start of school for children in Reception to Year 6. The club has been running successfully since 2009, and provides a free, healthy breakfast in a place where the children can meet and socialise with their friends.
In April 2025, Ivy Road Primary was one of the 750 schools nationwide that was awarded an Early Adopters Breakfast Club grant from the DfE. This pilot scheme will go some way to ensure the children can start the day with a healthy breakfast which aids concentration and in turn achievement. The funding support covers costs such as food and drinks, cups, bowls, plates etc. and staffing.

Opening Times
Breakfast Club runs from 8am until school starts.
Please ensure your child arrives before 8:30am.
The children have a variety of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts and toast to choose from.
