Ivy Road Primary School’s Little Buds provides eligible parents with free childcare for their two year olds.

You may be entitled to claim up to 15 hours of free, flexible early education and childcare if your family recieves one of these benefits:

• Income Support
• Income based Job Seekers’ Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The Guaranteed element of state Pension Credit
• Working Tax Credit / Child Tax Credit with an annual income of no more than £16,190
• Universal Credit (initial roll-out)

Or if:

• Your child has a current statement of SEN or an Education, Health and Care Plan
• Your Child is eligable for Disability Living Allowance
• Your child has left care through special guardianship or an adoption or child arrangements order
• You are caring for a looked after child (in the care of the local authority)

If you meet the criteria you can apply for up to 15 hours per week (for 38 weeks) of free early education and childcare, from the beginning of the school term after your child turns two.
